GAME RULES
All Teams get a minimum of three (3) 40 minute, running clock games
*Teams can earn a playoff game for each bracket to determine bracket champion
Games are 18-minute running time halves with a 2-minute halftime
There will be NO TIES – we will do a Braveheart with a draw
No Timeouts
8M shorts will be played out if the horn sounds
All game results will be posted on Tourney Machine
Coaches are to flip scores
Coaches are to sign off and affirm scores
After each game a team representative comes to the HQ Tent to confirm next game location and opponent as we are re-seeding after each round of games.

Modified Checking / Full Checking based on agreement by coaches.
If coaches do not agree we go modified.
Coaches can go no checking if they’d like.

If no goalie, if one team has two goalies, maybe share? Or turn the goal upside down.
1 Pass minimum rule, though coaches can agree to do 2 or 3 passes, if no agreement, 1 pass.
Top Record in each bracket goes to Finals game

- All athletes must be current members of US Lacrosse
- All teams will play three 40 minute games and a possible championship
- Games will consist of two 18 minute halves and a 4 minute halftime

**Team managers will rate the strength of their team to optimize competitive level of pools in divisions during registration
- AAA – 5+ Club players and remaining players are athletic and have played before
- AA – 2-3 Club players, some athletes and a few novice players
- A – 2 or fewer Club players, a few athletes and half novice players
TEAM TENTS
Team tents are encouraged in the Team Tent areas – see map.
VENDORS
There will be official Jersey Girls Challenge Tournament t-shirts and lacrosse clothing and merchandise available.There are also food vendors as well!!
TRAINER
We will have a trainer on site.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Teams are to follow the code of conduct as described by the JGLA Website.
**There will be NO TOLERANCE for UNSPORTSMANLIKE behavior such as negative statements or actions between players, coaches, officials, and fans. This includes TAUNTING, BERATING, or ANY ACTIONS THAT RIDICULE OR CAUSE EMBARRASSMENT TO THEM. If such comments are heard, a penalty will be assessed immediately. We all work together for our sport; the players, coaches, parents, and officials. The purpose of youth town lacrosse is to learn and grow in the spirit of the game.
PARKING
There is ample free parking for this event. There are three areas to park – at the main parking lot, by the turf field and across the street at the Community Pool Parking lot.
